Thank you for having me as your guest, Jennie!

I thought this piece was a match for your publication. I wrote it during my trip to Spain, on the plane while everyone else was sleeping/ watching movies.

It's hard work this creator thing but it's well worth the effort ❤️

I wrote the entire flight to France! Glad to know I’m not the only one who’s obsessed. And I always look to you to envision what’s possible for me. Thanks for being such an inspiration! 🩵

I love those examples. I didn’t know about the Bumble story, but I worked at Badoo when they bought Bumble and it was a success!

Oh wow, that would have been exciting times!

I love the Bumble story: the come-back, the vision behind it and how it's become an epic story of empowerment for women.

Loved jumping down this rabbit hole with both feet today.

Here's to my success mindset, and mentally rehearsing what I want, as well as working my butt off.

Cheers!

Hahaha, Jennie's rabbit hole is very tempting indeed.

Cheers to working our butts off to get what we want!

Always, it really is the only way.

Keep striving, Veronica.

When we all go for gold, we stop stuffing about with nonsense. When we focus, our impact on change is massive, and we feel better about it.

I love how you keep it real, but are super encouraging. I needed to hear this today.

Thank you 🙏🏼

I love encouraging people and sometimes that means sharing the stuff that is not so sexy. We are all on a journey here and our lows are as important and meaningful as our highs.

Cheers 💕

You bet they are. If one is open to it, a lot of growth can happen from those lows. Thanks for the encouragement 😊

Such inspiring stories! I wasn’t aware of Whitney Wolf— never heard of her..

They are such great stories, right?

And it’s more relatable than the curated overnight success story. It’s human, it’s real.

Whitney’s story is really incredible and I love how she turned things around.

On the day her company went public, she rang the bell on Wall Street holding her baby. What a champ!

That’s awesome! Good for her. I love these stories even more when it’s a woman 💪👯

Me too, there are too many stories about men making it. When something is created for women by a woman who understands the need and then makes it real, it feels especially good.

For instance, wouldn't it be amazing if there was a pill that didn't take away your actual desire for sex, the longing, the needing, the wanting of it, the enjoying of it; but that still worked brilliantly so pregnancy couldn't happen?

Why aren't scientists working on this one?

Is it because that's not even important to men? Not even on their radar anyway?

Your example made me laugh because I had never thought about it!

Sadly, unless there is a man in the lab, the needle won't move but things are changing and we can all play a small part in that.

I love how you connected the post with an example that is so different yet it's so related at the same time.

Hmmm good question! It’s still very much a male-driven world so yeah you’re probably right. If a man’s not taking the pill, the urgency to create a better version just isn’t there

Exactly! I had never thought about it, but it's so true.

If we want to see change, we have to be the ones driving it.
